Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, a priceless double the sleeve and stretches, as they became known in Portugal. Reportedly made 99 films together, most of them with sound.
The two comedians first worked together in the silent film The Lucky Dog.
Among his most popular films and successful feature films are the Sons of the Desert, Grits Two Rogues, and The Veterans Supper.
The last film of The Laurel and Hardy was Atoll K, and then retired from the big screen. In total they appeared together in 106 films, 40 short sound, 32 long and 23 short silent films.
The comic won several Oscars and in 1960 received a statuette by the whole career.
